How far in advance can clients book me?

You have full control over how far into the future clients can book appointments with you. This is useful for preventing clients from booking meetings months in advance, especially if your schedule is subject to change.

This setting is managed on a per-booking-type basis.

Setting Your Future Booking Limit

  1. From your TidyCal Dashboard, go to the Booking Types section.
  2. Select the booking type you wish to edit.
  3. On the editing page, find the Availability restrictions settings. Look for the field labeled Attendees can book a maximum of
  4. Enter a number in the box. By default, this is set to 60 days.
  5. After setting your desired number of days, scroll to the bottom and click Save Booking Type.

How It Works: An Example

This feature uses a "rolling days" window.

  • If you set the limit to 30 days, a client visiting your booking page will only be able to see and select dates within the next 30 days from today's date.
  • As each day passes, the 30-day window rolls forward. For example, on August 1st, they can book up to August 31st. On August 2nd, they can book up to September 1st.

This ensures your calendar doesn't get filled up too far in advance, giving you more flexibility.
