How to Create Your TidyCal Website (Landing Page Builder)

TidyCal's Website feature is a built-in landing page builder that lets you showcase your services, credentials, testimonials, and booking types on a single professional page. Available on all plans (Free, Individual, and Agency), the Website is an alternative to the Classic booking page and requires no external tools or coding.

Overview

The Booking page section in TidyCal gives you two modes for your public page:

Feature Classic Website
Layout Simple list of booking types Full landing page with 10 customizable sections
Sections Booking types only Hero, Bio, Testimonials, FAQ, Social Links, and more
Themes Theme Editor colors 4 themes (Rio, Cairo, Zurich, New York) with custom fonts and colors
Image uploads Profile picture only Hero image + profile picture
Active at once Only one mode can be active at a time

Plan availability: All plans (Free, Individual, Agency). Free plan users see a "Make your website with TidyCal" footer. Individual and Agency plans show a smaller "Made with TidyCal" footer.

Accessing the Website Builder

  1. Click Booking page in the sidebar (globe icon — the first item in the main navigation).
  2. You will see two cards: Classic and Website.
  3. Toggle the switch on the Website card to enable it. The label changes from "Disabled" to "Enabled" and a confirmation message appears.
  4. Click the pencil icon on the Website card to open the editor.

Note: Enabling Website automatically disables Classic, and vice versa. Only one mode is active at a time. Your Classic page settings are preserved when you switch.

Themes and Styling

TidyCal offers 4 built-in themes, each with its own default colors, fonts, and background style:

Theme Background Style Default Font
Rio Blurred background circles Theme-specific
Cairo Gradient background Theme-specific
Zurich Solid background Theme-specific
New York (default) Solid background Geist

You can customize colors and fonts after selecting a theme. If you switch themes, your custom colors and fonts will be reset (a confirmation dialog appears first). Use Reset to theme defaults to revert just the colors and fonts without changing the theme.

Sharing Your Website

Your Website is available at your public booking page URL (e.g., tidycal.com/yourusername ). When Website mode is active, visitors see your landing page instead of the Classic booking list.

  • Click Copy link in the editor toolbar to copy the URL.
  • You can also copy the link from the Booking page dashboard using the link icon in the header.

If you have a custom domain configured, your Website will also be accessible through it.

Social Sharing Previews

When you share your Website URL on social media (Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Slack, etc.), a rich preview card is automatically generated using your page title, description, and profile image. These Open Graph and Twitter Card meta tags are set automatically — no additional configuration needed.

Troubleshooting

Page not saving

The Website has a 500 KB data limit. If your page fails to save, try reducing the amount of text or removing unused sections. Large images are stored separately and do not count toward this limit.

Image upload fails

  • Ensure the file is under 5 MB.
  • Supported formats: JPEG, JPG, PNG, GIF, and WebP.
  • Images are automatically resized to a maximum of 1200 × 1200 pixels.

Changes not showing for visitors

Make sure you click Save after making changes. Use Preview mode to see how your page looks before saving. Also verify that the Website toggle is set to "Enabled" on the Booking page dashboard.
