TidyCal is an online appointment scheduling app from AppSumo and a Calendly alternative. You create booking types, share your booking page, and clients book times that are free on your connected calendars.

How much does TidyCal cost?
TidyCal has four plans:
- Free Plan: $0.
- Individual Lifetime: $29 one-time payment, sold on AppSumo.
- Agency Lifetime: $79 one-time payment, sold on AppSumo.
- Pro: $12 per month or $99 per year, a subscription sold directly on TidyCal and billed through Stripe. Pro has no free trial.

What is included on the TidyCal Free Plan?
Every plan, including the Free Plan, includes:
- Unlimited booking types and bookings, including package and recurring bookings and date polls. Group bookings need Individual Lifetime, Agency Lifetime or Pro.
- Availability schedules: create named schedules with New schedule on the Availability page, then pick one for each booking type under Select availability schedule.
- Embedding: copy the embed code from Embed on website on the Booking types page and paste it into your site. See How to embed TidyCal on your website.

Which calendars can you connect to TidyCal?
Connect calendars from Integrations → Calendars. TidyCal keeps your bookings and connected calendars in two-way sync:
- Google Calendar: connect with your Google account.
- Microsoft Outlook / Office 365: connect with your Microsoft account.
- Apple iCloud Calendar: connect with an App-specific password.
Calendar connections by plan: Free Plan 1, Individual Lifetime 10, Agency Lifetime 10 (25 if purchased before September 1, 2026) and Pro unlimited. See Adding Calendars to your TidyCal account.
Which TidyCal plans include team scheduling?
Team scheduling is included with Agency Lifetime and Pro. The Free Plan and Individual Lifetime do not include teams.
- Teams: create a team on the Teams page and invite members.
- Round robin meetings: each booking goes to one available team member, chosen by priority.
- Collective meetings: a time is offered only when every host is free, and all hosts attend.
- Team booking page: attendees choose which team member to book.
Agency Lifetime licenses purchased on or after September 1, 2026 allow 4 team members, including the owner. Agency Lifetime purchased before that date and Pro have no seat limit. See Simplify Team Scheduling with Teams Feature.
Should you choose Pro or a lifetime plan?
Choose a lifetime plan to pay once: Individual Lifetime ($29) or Agency Lifetime ($79) on AppSumo. Choose Pro ($12 per month or $99 per year) to get everything in Agency Lifetime plus:
- No TidyCal branding on booking pages. Lifetime plans show reduced branding.
- No platform fee on paid bookings. The Free Plan and lifetime plans pay 1% on Stripe bookings, and lifetime owners choose who covers it under Settings → Bookings.
- Custom domain. Agency Lifetime purchased before September 1, 2026 and Individual Lifetime purchased before the April 2026 Pro launch keep it too. See Custom Domains.
- Priority support.
- Unlimited calendar connections, team members and SMS reminders.

How do I get started with TidyCal?
- Create a free account at tidycal.com.
- Connect your calendar from Integrations → Calendars.
- Set your hours on the Availability page.
- On the Booking types page, click New booking type.
- Share your booking page: in the sidebar, click the copy icon (Copy booking link) next to Booking page, or click Share your booking page! if that button is shown. To add a booking type to your website, use Embed on website.
Troubleshooting
Why does a setting show a Pro badge?
- The Pro badge in the booking type editor marks a setting the booking type owner's plan does not include.
- Settings listed under Included with every paid plan in the plan comparison table are also included with Individual Lifetime and Agency Lifetime. SMS reminders and team scheduling need Agency Lifetime or Pro.
- On a team booking type, the team owner's plan decides which settings are available.
How do I check which plan my account is on?
- Go to Settings → Your plan. The heading shows Your plan: and the plan name, for example Individual Lifetime + Pro (Monthly) if you have a lifetime plan and a Pro subscription.
- To change or cancel Pro billing, click Manage subscription on the same page.
Why doesn't my account show the lifetime plan I bought on AppSumo?
- AppSumo activates the plan on the TidyCal account whose email address matches the email you used to activate it on AppSumo. Log in to TidyCal with that email address and check Settings → Your plan.
- If Your plan still shows Free, email support@tidycal.com with your AppSumo invoice number.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is TidyCal really a lifetime deal?
Yes, for the two lifetime plans: Individual Lifetime ($29, also called the Individual Plan) and Agency Lifetime ($79, the Agency Plan) are one-time payments on AppSumo with no subscription fee. The Free Plan costs nothing, and Pro is the recurring option.
Does TidyCal have a monthly subscription?
Yes. Pro costs $12 per month or $99 per year, is sold directly on TidyCal and billed through Stripe, and has no free trial. See TidyCal Pro - Features and Benefits.
What is the difference between Pro and Agency Lifetime?
Pro adds no TidyCal branding, no platform fee, priority support and a custom domain, and is billed monthly or yearly instead of once; both include team scheduling and SMS reminders. Agency Lifetime purchased on or after September 1, 2026 is also limited to 10 calendar connections, 4 team members including the owner and 10 SMS segments per month, while licenses purchased before that date keep 25 calendar connections, unlimited team members, 20 SMS segments per month and a custom domain. Can I upgrade my plan later?
Yes. To subscribe to Pro, go to Settings → Your plan and click Subscribe to Pro, or click Subscribe on the Pro card of the pricing page; a lifetime plan stays on your account alongside Pro. To move up to Agency Lifetime, buy or upgrade on AppSumo: if you bought on AppSumo, the Agency Lifetime card on the pricing page shows Upgrade at AppSumo, and if you bought Individual Lifetime directly on TidyCal, it shows Upgrade for $50.
