How to Use Microsoft Teams (MS Teams)

Microsoft Teams plus TidyCal Integration banner showing 3 Quick Steps

The long wait is over! You can now integrate Microsoft 365 Teams with TidyCal to streamline your scheduling and connect easily with clients. Here’s a quick guide to get you started.

Requirements

Before you begin, make sure you have:

✅ A paid plan (Individual Plan, Pro, or Agency Plan account) in TidyCal

✅ An Office 365 Business or Education account with Microsoft

Personal Microsoft accounts (outlook.com, hotmail.com, live.com) usually cannot generate Microsoft Teams meeting links unless they carry a Microsoft 365 Business or Education subscription. TidyCal shows a warning when it detects a personal account at connect time. If Teams links do not appear on your bookings, connect a work or school account instead.

Expired connections: if your Microsoft token expires or is revoked, TidyCal treats the integration as not connected — it will no longer be offered as a location in the booking type editor or on your booking page. Reconnect the account from Integrations → Video conferences to restore it.

Note: Repeat Step on other booking types you wish to meet via Microsoft Teams.

What Happens Next?

Once your integration is set up, a unique Microsoft Teams link will be automatically generated and included in the confirmation, calendar invite, and reminder emails sent to both you and your client whenever a meeting is booked.

This simplifies the process, ensuring you’re both ready to join the meeting effortlessly.
