How to change your TidyCal account email or password

Update your TidyCal account email from the Profile settings page. For password changes, use the password reset flow. Device verification may prompt you to confirm new devices after changing your email.

Changing your email address

  1. In the sidebar, go to Settings > Profile.
  2. Find the Email address field.
  3. Enter your new email address.
  4. Click Save changes.

If you signed in with Google Sign-In, your email is linked to your Google account. You can still update it from the Profile page, but Google Sign-In will be disconnected and you will need to set a password during the confirmation step.

Resetting your password

  1. Log out of your TidyCal account.
  2. On the login page, click Forgot your password?
  3. Enter your email address and follow the instructions sent to your inbox.
  4. Create a new password and log in.

Device verification after changes

After changing your email, you may be asked to verify your device when logging in from a new browser or device. Check your email for the verification code. You can manage trusted devices in Settings > Trusted devices.

Troubleshooting

Password reset email not received

  • Check your spam/junk folder.
  • Make sure you entered the correct email address.
  • Wait a few minutes and try again.
  • Contact support@tidycal.com if you still cannot reset your password.

Can I change the email on a Google Sign-In account?

Can I change my password without logging out?

Currently, password changes go through the forgot password flow on the login page.
